Challenge Day #4: Places You Want to Visit

Edit Posted by with No comments
I am not the adventure type of person. But I have places I want to go to on my bucket list. There are 2 places (countries). The first one is New Zealand and the other one Japan.

Why I want to visit New Zealand? When I think about it, I kinda surprised. The reason isn’t so typically me. Because I want to feel the adventure there (seriously, I kinda surprise to know I have this side of myself).

Since I was little, I always thought New Zealand has a veeeeeeery beautiful scenery through the island. At first I only want to go there because… Look at that scenery! I bet looking the scenery with my own eyes might relieve my stress in instant. I always picture the New Zealand’s coasts as heaven on earth, wherever part of New zealand.

In order to write today’s challenge, I browsed through internet. With the word “best place to visit on New Zealand” on google, they will give you Bay of Island as the top recommendation. It places on north-eastern coast of New Zealand’s North Island (Ok, please don’t ask me to explain it! Kindly check on google due to my super lack ability to understand maps). The goverment of New zealand has a lot of website that can help people draw a clear picture about what can you do when you traveled to Bay of Island (one of them is https://www.visitboi.co.nz/things-to-do/water-activities). After run through the website, I found my dream activity. PLAYING WITH DOLPHIN!!! You can play with (or just sightseeing) them on their habitat. How cool is that?!

I always love playing with harmless animals. And Dolphin is one of them. So, having a dream to visit New Zealand to play with dolphin is definitely on my top bucket list.

On the other hand, I want to have a trip to north part of the globe. I want to visit Japan. This time, the main reason to visit that country is because of the food. Yes, FOOD!!!

I know, in my Day 3 Challenge I already mention I often enjoy Japanese cuisine on the Summer festival held here. But again, nothing can beat the original taste. Everything taste better where they come from. My list of must-try food on Japan trip might consist of Omurice, fresh sushi (I might forget my trauma to Tuna if I eat fresh sushi there), dango, Wagashi and Yokan-type Wagashi (those picture of water drop cake is so beautiful).

The other thing I want to do If I get a chance to have trip to japan is to visit Tsukiji Fish Market In Tokyo (or Toyoshu since Tsukiji market had officially close in 2018). If you google it, you’ll find that Tsukiji market/Toyoshu is actually one of tourist spot on Tokyo. Beside selling best and high quality of seafoods there, Tsukiji Market/Toyoshu also known for their incredible food stalls. But… That’s not the main reason I want to visit it. I want to watch Tuna butchering there.

After watch Masaki Aiba (of Arashi) and Wataru Yokoo (of Kis My ft2) done tuna butchering, I have my personal interested to watch the professional there. Because it’s not just about cut the fish into pieces. IT’S A WORK OF ART!!! There only some people license to do it. If you lucky, you might taste a sashimi tuna given by the butcher (again, I might forget about my trauma of tuna here).

Well… The only thing left of me after writing this note is… Pray to God. Praying that I can save sooooo much money so I can go (at least) to one of the place I mentioned above. Also I have to pray to God for this pandemic comes to an end. Even if I have so much money to travel anywhere now, I still can’t go because of travel warnings. So… Let’s pray together and ask God to get rid of this pandemic soon. Aamiin.
